A. Scott White on Planned Giving Panel
Founding President of Lee County Planned Giving Council Addresses Group

FORT MYERS, Florida–A. Scott White of Scott White Advisors presented planned giving information at the Planned Giving Council of Lee County’s Leave a Legacy event in Fort Myers. Leave a Legacy is a public awareness campaign designed to promote information about bequests to charitable organizations.

White’s talk, “Planned Giving Options for Your Favorite Cause,” presented information about ways to support charitable organizations. “All of us who are successful have been helped along the way by organizations. Schools, churches, charities and other groups have made a difference in our lives. There are ways we can return the favor,” said White.

White is founding president of the Lee County Planned Giving Council and past president of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is also past president of the Lee County Estate Planning Council and is currently a board of trustee member for the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, a member of the planned giving committee for Lee Memorial Health System Foundation, and a member of the board of directors and chairman of the planned giving committee of the United Way of Lee County.

Recently named President-elect of the Financial Planning Association of Southwest Florida, White is president of Scott White Advisors, an independent Fort Myers wealth management firm that specializes in the comprehensive financial and estate needs of high net worth families. For the past two years White was been named one of the country’s top financial planners by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
